Wee Scottie Running Dog Tin Toy w Original Box by MarxThis is an adorable Wee Scottie dog -- a wind-up toy in its original box and the dog runs beautifully!The box says Running Scottie. It has the Marx logo. Also printed: "Louis Marx & Co. Inc. 200 Fifth Ave. New York, N.Y. U.S.A." The dog's blanket thrown over its body says "Wee Scottie".The dog has very strong graphics and a bright lithographed tin body.The dog is in very good condition. There is minor age-related wear, marks, scratches and paint loss. See photos. It does not appear that there are any dings or dents but it is hard to tell because of the way the tin was manufactured to show the shape of the dog's body. There is no rust. The dog has its original rubber ears and tail and they are in excellent condition.The dog measures about 5-1/4 inches in length x 2-1/4 inches across (including the key) x 3-7/8 inches in height including his ears and his runners.The red box is in very good age-related condition with minor wear, marks, and some tearing on the end flaps.
