GREAT 1950's SY TOYS MECHANICAL JUMPING ROBOT TIN TOY w/ ORIGINAL BOX JAPAN - $500 - (Holden, MA)

Up for bid is a fantastic 1950’s SY Japan Mechanical Jumping Robot toy with the original box. The box measures approximately 6 inches long by 4 ½ inches tall by 2 ½ inches tall. The toy itself measures approximately 6 inches long by 5 inches long by 2 ½ inches wide. Overall it is in good condition. The toy has been tested and is in working condition. The key holds tension when it is turned and the toy jumps up and down when it is on a flat surface. Overall the toy is in great condition. The toy has a small bend along the left side fin. The exterior shows general light surface scratching, scuffing and wear throughout. All of the parts appear to be present. There is a pencil eraser sized area of missing paint near the SY logo on the back of the front side. The exterior is very lightly dusty from age. The box is in decent condition. The top of the box has two one inch long vertical tears on the right side. The top of the box shows general light surface discoloration throughout. The bottom of the box shows a good amount of denting, bending, and wear throughout, particularly along the back side, right side and along the right side portion of the front. There are splits along the edges of the box. There are some small sections of missing cardboard in various places on the bottom portion of the box. See pictures for a better idea of condition.
