Huge Antique 2 Stack 6 Drawer Map Cabinet mkd. U.S.E.D. - $695 - (Portland, OR)

This is a great old stacking map cabinet. There are 2 sections, a top and a bottom. It is pretty large measuring 53 inches wide, 34 inches deep and stands 34 1/2 inches tall. There are 6 large drawers, that measure on the inside, 3 inches deep, 46 inches wide and are 30 inches deep. (inside dimensions) . The cabinet is being sold as one unit. It is marked on the front U.S.E.D. Probably U.S. Engineering Dept. The cabinet is in very good condition for it's age, there are a few marks and scratches on the top, but no water marks, so if a person wanted it could be sanded and stained and brought back to like new condition. There is a small section on the back bottom left side that was cut out, probably so it would slide flush against the wall, and the lower back veneer panel is missing,(that could be easily replace) The map cabinet is made of Oak and Fir I believe.
