SELMER BALANCED ACTION ALTO SAX 1937 EXCEPTIONALLY BEAUTIFUL - $4,995 - (Winchester, VA)

Here's an exceptionally beautiful Selmer Balanced Action Alto Sax from 1937. Sax has been totally refurbished by Selmer in France, when it was purchase from the original owner in 1969. This alto even has the original grenadilla neck plug. Comes with a new SKB rectangle lightweight case or the original old case. Your choice. The lacquer tone is a rich, warm gold "pictures don't do it justice" and the engraving is still strong. There has been very little playing time since the rebuild. I am currently playing this sax.The action is close and quick. A real pleasure to play.
