RARE SET: 1850s John Brown's Daughters Painting @Harpers Ferry & 1827 Signed Doc - $2,500 - (Huntingdon, PA)

1850's John Brown's Daughters Painting of Annie and Sarah above Harper's Ferry found in old barn loft in Lexington, VA -and- 1827 Land lease Document in the Town of Newbury and The County of Berks, with John Brown's Signature. We believe it's possible that Brown leased the land for a tannery and possible munitions manufacture from abolitionist sympathizers in England, and that both signatures on the Document, John Brown and Joseph Tanner, were written by his hand. Painting on oil cloth/canvas is in Fair to Poor condition with cracks & edge wear, chipping, and some separation from the backing cloth at the edges, but restorable when professionally cleaned, trimmed, and framed/matted behind flat glass in frame with Museum mounting. Document on vellum is fading and in need of professional framing, but signatures are good. See pictures for more detail. Sold as Shown! Winning Bidder Must pay within 24 hours of Offer close!
