Vintage 1960's Supro/Airline ResoGlass Guitar Red White W/Reissue Case - $2,699 - (Columbus, OH)

Up for purchase is a vintage Supro/National/Airline guitar from the 1960's. Originally from Sears and Montgomery Ward, this guitar featured a fiberglass/resoglass body and a fat neck. This guitar has had a setup for good playability. What's amazing about this guitar, is that all the neck binding, frets, and inlays are all original and in great shape. There's no cracking on the binding or the inlays. Someone took care of this one over the years. The guitar is all original and plays great. Most of the time when you find these guitars the binding has started cracking and falling off the guitar, and most don't have any fret life left. This guitar has that perfect neck originality and it's Ready to play. A few small blemishes to the body from age. A small nicks on the right lower side of the body. Please review the picture to see the details. Some stress lines in the fiberglass from age. The 2 pots for the neck pickup and the pot for the Master Volume are non original, but are the correct resistance for this guitar. They were probably changed at some point from too much static with age. The 2 pots for the bridge pickup are original. Comes with a reissue Airline Case that fits the guitar perfectly.
