This hard case opens at both ends. Outside dimensions are 19 3/4 x 12 x 11 1/2. Inside dimension is 9 x 9 x15. Built by a company that has been in business 40 years making cases for theater/video/electronics. Very high quality but needs some loving - see photos. It appears to have held a small monitor or other electronic device - thus the vents for cooling. Inner Dimentions: 9 x 9 x 15 in.Outer Dimentions: 12 x 11 1/2 x 19 3/4 in.
