Hand Painted Pink Roses on Porcelain Plaque / Tile - $30 - (Brazoria, TX)

This auction is for a hand painted tile of pink roses. Size is 2 5/8" x 3.5". It is unmarked and no damage. In an older home these smaller tiles look great set on top of the old tiles with thin set or your chosen adhesive. They're lightweight and could be set with a more temporary adhesive. They can add needed interest and colors. These are handpainted with china paints and fired in a kiln. China paints are finely ground glass so the colors are always multi-layered, very rich and vibrant. Some areas of the painting are transparent, some not. That's the extreme beauty of glass china paints. I have several tiles listed in a variety of subjects. Thanks for looking.
