JC Higgins Western Saddle - $300 - (Rustburg, VA)

Vintage JC Higgins Western Parade SaddleVintage JC Higgins saddle, 14" seat, basketweave stamping, leather is in fair condition, no tears or repairs, but does have some surface cracking/crazing due to age. The conchos are scallop edged and there is an etched star on each one; a few are missing, there are 57 remaining conchos in tact. The fleece has 2 areas that are worn through up front near the gullet opening (see picture). Saddle has lots of bumps and bruises but can be used for many years to come. Stirrups are not original.
