161hh Foxtrotter Mare - $1,200 - (Rigby, ID)

Meghan is a 15 yr old nonpapered palomino mare. She has been used mostly for trail riding but I have also pushed and gathered cows on her. She does a smooth foxtrot and smooth stepping pace then goes into a lope. She has big strong feet that I have never had to put shoes on and have ridden her on long rocky trails with no problems. She is generally on the bottom of the pecking order. She is not mareish. Meghan has raised several babies and is a good mother. Good for adding height to shorter horses. She has been vaccinated wormed coggins drawn teeth floated and feet trimmed all within the past week so is ready to go. She is 1 that can sit for a while then get on with no problems. She has never bucked or reared with me. I would recommend her for a intermediate rider. Meghan has been so fun and has taught me a lot but I have 2 new 3 yr olds that need trained and I dont need 3 horses. She has some habits that are more annoying than anything else which is reflected in her lower price.
