Willow is a precious little mare that is used predominantly for trail riding. She rides out beautifully alone without acting nervous or calling towards home. She also rides out with a group whether you are leading following or somewhere in the middle. Riding past sitting farm machinery near traffic over fallen logs or through puddles is not a problem. She is used to dogs running about and is easily introduced into the herd or to new horses. Willow is towards the bottom of the pecking order and is very easy to get along with. Willow is sound barefoot has never needed shoes and stands patiently for the farrier. She loads well hauls easy and stands to be saddled bridled and bathed. Willow is very patient when being mounted and stops and backs responsively. I would describe her as a sensitive horse therefore I recommend her for an intermediate or experienced rider that has owned horses before.
