This lamp has been completely refurbished by a complete professional glass bead paint removal and a careful repaint with Mole maroon high heat paint. With a complete removal of all parts, the electrics have been totally checked and new wiring and insulation installed replacing old burned out wiring. In other words it is a like new light from the paint out. Comes with barndoors as shown. One of Mole-Richardson’s most perfect lights…the 2351 Midget Solarspot. This light will serve as a kicker, small spot (from narrow beam to full flood with an even field and can even be mounted on the camera if desired. It is made of cast aluminum which in this case is almost indestructible. Everything about this little light has perfect design. The front lens pops out easily for a re-lamp. Quartz lamps are available from 100 to 250 watts. With a 200 watt lamp at a distance of 15 ft at max flood position it produces 15 F.C. with a beam diameter of 12.5 ft and going the other way at a distance of 5 ft. at Max flood position it produces 110 F.C. with a beam spread 4.3 ft.at Max flood. And weighs only 4 ¾ lbs with cable. So you can see that it is a very versatile lamp. Comes with lamp, barn door, inline cord switch, and pigeon base stand. Even though you may be contemplating LED's, this lamp is probably 1/10th the price of a flat panel LED and is able to place the light exactly where you want it...flood or spot.....not spread all over your set/scene.
