Tom Taber - $499 - (Cross Lake, MN)

Tom Taber vintage Carved Egret wood sculpture Absolutely stunning. Original glass eyes. Metal legs . Signed Tom Taber. Hand made. I don't know much about Tom Tabor but he made quite a few different birds for Ducks Unlimited functions. This one was from 1991 - 1992 so it is 25 years old. It is a limited edition. It is in pretty good shape but his beak is chipped off. It is not noticeable when he is upright and it could be made even less noticeable by staining it the same grayish green color with a colored stain. It is 17" tall, 18" from the tip of beak to his tail feathers, and the thickest part of his chest is 5" wide.
