Greeting & Verse Card Duet We know you'll love these great “Keepsake Enclosed Cards” which are a combination of a Greeting Card and a Verse Card. The greeting cards are created right here in our southwestern workshop just as we have been doing since 1977. First, a pastel Rainbow is printed on greeting card stock and then precision die-cut with distinctive round corners to a finished size of 4" x 5". Then we attach one of our 2?" x 3½" Verse Cards which is inserted into 4 small slits hidden on the face of the Greeting Card. The recipient easily removes it by gently lifting... much like a photo would be taken out of an old-fashioned album. The “removed” Verse Card then becomes a “Lasting Keepsake”. Each Verse Card features the following text: One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky. In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there were one set of footprints. This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints. So I said to the Lord, “You promised me Lord, that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there have only been one set of footprints in the sand.
