ANTIQUE, FULLY STUFFED APPLIQUE "ROSE WREATH" QUILT, c. 1850, RARE ! - $2,850 - (Akron, OH)

This is a fabulous antique quilt. It is an applique "Rose Wreath" and dates from the 1850"s. It is unusual in that ALL the applique is stuffed. It also has excellent quilting through out. The binding has been double corded. It is in super, excellent condition. I don't believe it has ever really been used or washed. There are 2 or 3 tiny "age spots" and the red in one of the buds has separated from the green (see picture) This fabulous quilt measures 86" X 86".
