Relisting due to non-paying bidder. Pre-Gibson Tobias Basic 5 string, Pre Gibson bass guitar. The unusual and personally awesome thing about this bass is that it has 18mm spacing at the bridge, a huge difference from other Tobiases if you wanted extra room. XTCT pre and bartolini pickups, a little wear on the back as pictured and one ding on the front but otherwise great shape for about a 30 year old bass. Comes with the original Reunion Blues Tobias gig bag. From the original owner "I had a close working relationship with Mike Tobias in the 80's. All the bases he built for me were mod-ed for wide spacing. (i.e. 6-string pickups, different bridge, etc. ) The different pre amp was installed only because I liked it better than the TCT. It was installed about 3-4 years after the bass was originally completed. " Apologies for pulling the listing, a friend was wishy washy about taking it.. We all have those friends!
