VINTAGE USA SHAWNEE #2562 FLYING DUCK PLANTER - 16 1/2" LONG - Rare - $20 - (D'Hanis, TX)

Very LARGE flying duck planter. Marked USA 2562. The base of the planter is made to look like water waves with the flying duck wings coming down on either side of the planter area. It is brown & yellowish brown marbling around the neck side wings, tail and tips of the waves on the planter. The planter measures 16 1/2" long from the beak of the duck to the back end of the planter. The duck itself measures 13" long and the planter measures 14 3/4" long. The bottom base of the planter measures 10 1/2" long X 4 1/4" wide. The planter is in GREAT condition with no chips, cracks or hairline fractures. There are a couple of very small flaws on the bottom which occurred when made. The planter weights 3 lbs.4 oz. I do a lot of research on all my items, and was unable to find any other planters like this one. It is labeled USA but don't know if it's either Hull or Shawnee.
