ANTIQUE TURKESTAN Silver Rings - late 19th century, early 20th century RARE - $100 - (Belgrade, MT)
Antique Turkmenistan Tekke (Tekke, meaning a dervish or Sufi, from Turkestan, a city in what is now South Kazakhstan) Tribal Bilezik silver rings with dangle chains. One is fire silver with 4 tribal bells. Another is accented with gold wash and a carnelian stone along with a tribal bell and 3 other dangles. 2 of them look like baskets with lids that actually open! The last ring has gold wash on it, also with carnelian bead accents dangling from the middle. We had these examined by an historian and he places the date on these between 1880 and 1900. These are very unique and don't come up for sale very often. We are providing free shipping on these. These were placed in a regional high end auction house auction and fetched $150.00 but, the winning bidder never picked them up so we are putting them back in our store.
