Exquisite Rosenthal Versailles Bavarian Portrait Porcelain Ramekin & Underplate - $150 - (Dyersburg, TN)

Enter into the 1890's, and the world of the Rosenthal - Philip Rosenthal & Co of Kronach, Bavaria. Exquisite and extremely rare porcelain portrait ramekin with matching portrait under plate. Bowl measures 4 1/4 across, 1 3/8" tall Plate measures 5" across. The Rosenthal mark on this set is known as the 'Versailles mark. Plump roses adorn the parameter of the under plate with a gorgeous sunrise colouring surrounding it all. The portrait is breathtakingly beautiful. The ramekin has the identical but much smaller portrait in the center of the bowl with the same roses and sunrise colouring. In remarkably nice antique Condition. No chips, cracks or crazing. All the gold trim is there. This set will be very carefully wrapped and double boxed and insured. I am always happy to combine shipping.
