Lionel Trains Seaboard NW-2 Diesel Switcher #6250 - $245 - (Meridian, MS)
The Lionel Seaboard #6250 Switcher was produced from 1954 and 1955. NO BOX.Created on a painted blue and orange body with white "SEABOARD" lettering on the sides and the road herald decal on the cab. It is equipped with a three position directional unit whose control lever which is adjustable from the bottom of the die-cast metal chasis, vertical worm drive motor that powers two axles with magnetration, interior lighting at both ends, and electronic couplers.. This is Variation C which is rubber stamped "SEABOARD" with widely spaced letters to account for the side panels.This item was a part of my daddy's train estate. He had been a collector since 1980. After his death all trains were boxed up and placed in a weather controlled environment. Before his passing, all trains were in working order. They have not been on track since October 2013.
