Aikin Lambert MERCANTILE Fountain Pen in Jade Green with14k Gold Flex Nib Here is a vintage Aiken Lambert Mercantile fountain pen in jade green with gold trim. No discoloration to be seen. It has crisp imprints and no brassing. The nib is an AL&Co. medium point flex with a heart shaped reservoir. Imprint reads "MERCANTILE - AIKIN LAMBERT CO. NEW YORK - MADE IN U.S.A." The nib has the original 14K "A.L.Co." nib. It is crack & stress free, and there is still remaining iridium tipping. It writes a medium point, more than semi flex with very nice line variation, going to 1.8 mm without over flexing. The pen is just over 5 1/2" capped, and just over 6 1/2" posted.
