I purchased these drums new in 2006. These are first generation Reference. Absolutely the highest quality drums I've ever played. I have toured the country with them and recorded almost a dozen records. As much as I hate to see them go I just don't use them anymore. When not in use these drums are stored in an air conditioned studio. All drums come with professional Gator hardshell cases except the 18" floor tom. This drum has an SKB hardshell case. I have taken excellent care of these drums, and they are in fantastic condition. The 13" tom shows a small amount of rust on the badge only.
