It will need a bulb for the lamp that does not come on when the unit is powered up. It is listed as parts only because I am unable to test the belt drive. When powered up, I am able to hear movement inside in both the reverse and forward position. That is why it is priced to sell at a value for even the parts alone. The projector has a selector switch for 8mm and super 8mm movies. The take-up reel, movie album, and preview screen is an added bonus.
