Antique Hand Carved Wood Folk Art Jesus Christ Religious Sculpture Head - $50 - (Ottawa, KS)

Up for sale is an antique hand carved Jesus sculpture. I'm not sure what kind of wood, it is very light like Balsa? I am selling this for a man who has a booth in my antique store. He has been collecting many items for over 50 years. This item was handed down to him from his Great Grandfather. It is in excellent condition, very detailed. He has had several health issues recently so he has decided to part with this treasure. This measures approx 4 1/4" tall and 3 1/2" wide. I always thought the eyes were closed on this, but as you can see in the photos they are barely open at the bottom of the eyelids, it looks real. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
