Rare 19thC Mason‘s Ironstone Covered Soup Tureen & Under Dish This rare soup tureen is decorated with floral designs, unusual handles, and openwork. The cover is decorated with floral designs and a figural flower finial. The under dish is decorated with a scene with flowers and a floral border. It is marked Mason’s ironstone and dates circa 1815. The tureen measures approximately 12 inches in overall height and 13 + ¾ inches at it‘s widest point. The under dish measures approximately1 + ½ inches high and 11 + ¾ inches at it‘s widest point. It is in excellent condition with the exception of some glaze wear / pops and some firing lines. Shipping & Handling charger will be paid by Buyer.
