Antique English Regency (circa 1825) Mahogany Bookcase - $7,500 - (Charleston, SC)

This is an exquisite, rare English bookcase, circa 1825. The slightly flat-top cornice is above a frieze with brass string inlay, above double glaze veneered doors and fronting adjustable interior shelves which are covered in blue silk lining. The base has a single drawer with ring pulls, a double door cabinet below with blue silk lining, all over an ogee shaped skirt with a brass line inlay on French feet. This beautiful piece is 76 1/2" high, 35 1/4" wide and 15 1/2" deep.
