This is a 16 inch round hoop wrapped in white deer skin. The art work is drawn on the leather with a .005 artist ink pen dipped in India ink. The whole picture is inked in black and then I use colored inks to highlight the focal points. I leave some places in the picture for the white leather to show through, such as with the Eagle feathers, the chief's face and hands. The leather is stretched around the back of the hoop with imitation sinew, so it is easily hangs on a wall. The Indian is holding a peace pipe and he is wearing a choker and beadwork with bear claws. He is looking off into the distance... as if he is wishing he were as free as the eagle soaring in the background... signed, Kricket
