18th C. American Antique Sack Back Windsor Chair with Knuckle Carved Arms - $2,495 - (Newport, RI)

Extremely rare and sought after not only for it's condition but for the knuckle detail on the arms. Connecticut, probably New London County, circa 1790-1800. I beleve the seat is Maple and the remainder is Oak.Condition: Excellent, old varnish finish. Having boldly carved knuckle arms with swelled, flared spindles above a shaped saddle seat supported by vase and ring turned splay legs. Available to view/pick-up in Newport, RI.
