US ROYAL TIRE sign, vintage non porcelain sign - NICE! - $575 - (Blue Bell, PA)

THANKS 1948 US Royal Tire recapping/rebuilding sign. -Single sided, non porcelain. -Painted steel sign. -Condition : Very good! -Size : Nice, big 3ft x 5ft. -Rare, scalloped edge design, known as the "Scrambled egg" -This sign was in dry storage for decades. -There is no indication from the mounting holes it was ever hung, used, or displayed anywhere. -Sign is marked AM - 48. -Bold and vibrant colors! No touch up, all original blue and yellow paint. -It's made out of a thin, but strong semi flexible type steel. -Sign is straight. -Still has factory gloss! -NO RUST! -Blue makers mark paint dots on back side of sign. *There is one dent/bend on the middle bottom center edge scallop where the date is. I'm thinking it may have been dropped on that edge. It's nothing horrible. *There is also some light scratches, a few scuffs, and smudges, in the field of the sign. Looks like 'shelf life'. I presume from being moved around in storage a few times over these decades. I did NOT try to clean, compound, or wax this sign. I don't like to touch or clean my signs. I like them just as they are found! I will let YOU, the new owner decide what to do. THIS SIGN IS FOR PICK UP IN PERSON. NO SHIPPING.
