Loree Oboe (made in France)AK BoreSerial # - IQ33I’ve had the instrument since about 2003 when I bought it under the recommendation of the Principal oboist of the Virginia Symphony and the Virginia Opera, Sherie Aguirre, with whom I took lessons.Condition: Good There are no cracks and the pads are all in fair condition (only the octave key pad seems to stick a bit). The oboe has been appraised at $4200 so I am taking off $200 for any minor cleaning and repair work that may be desired upon purchase. This instrument has a lovely tone, great intonation, and is easy to "sing" with both over the orchestra (or band) and within. I am a professional saxophonist who played this oboe through high school and college; however, over the last few years I have not played oboe much and would like to sell it and put the money towards a new investment.
