This Soap Cutter is for cutting cold and hot processed soap that has not fully cured. Cutter will not cut melt and pour soap. Easily cuts a soap loaf up to 14 inches long yielding 12 bars measuring 1 to 1.125 inches and at one smaller tester bar. The wire size is .016" and the tension is adjustable. 2 replacement wires and instructions are included. A video on tightening and or replacing a broken wire can be seen on the Facebook page "Homemade and Handcrafted Overhill Soaps". The Over all size of this soap cutter is 16.5" by 16.5" by 3". A small latch on the side keeps the cutter closed for easy carry. You may use olive oil on a soft cloth to coat the wood of your cutter if desired (that's just my preference on my own personal cutter :)
