Hammond ao 58 Hard With Cable version of Dynaco St 70 Stereo Tube Amplifier - $599 - (Bend, OR)

You are looking at a very nice and clean functioning Hammond AO-58 licensed Dynaco ST-70 commercial amplifier.These are very hard to come by and may be one of the best kept secrets in Hi-Fi.This is the point to point hand wired commercial version of the Dynaco ST70It is the same circuit, transformers, tube layout but more heavy duty.These were used in recording studios, theatres, etc.It was often rack mounted in a standard 19" rack or TONE CLOSET/CABINET as they were called.Steel chassis and NO PCB all point to point wiring and chassis mounted tube sockets.This unit is functioning. It's been stored and unused for the past 20 years (at least). We are not sound professionals, so we can't answer specific questions about the mechanics. All tubes are still working properly. Item has some minor scratches which are a result of it's age. I will throw in a few extra EL34 GE tubes which are still in their boxes. Unable to test as I don't have a working tube tester.
