Vintage Bogen MO 100A Tube Amp 8417 / 12dw7 / - $600 - (Homosassa, FL)
A Bogen MO 100A tube amp . Uses four 8417 tubes in the output section .Uses one 12dw7 / 7247 tube in the pre-amp section . Upon initial testing on start up the amp produced signal but after warm up the signal would fade and disappear . I found an open plate resistor (470K) in the pre-amp section , replaced it , and now the signal is strong and does not fade out . I also attached a new AC power cord . Out of the four 8417 tubes three test good and strong and the fourth tests good but also tests weak in the life section of my tester . I would recommend replacing this tube .The 12dw7 tube tests good and strong at 95/80 . All tubes are included . This amp functions well but it is close to 50 + years old so it is being sold as is .
