Up for sale is one of the earliest Sunn amplifiers ever found or seen. This one bearing serial number 1009 which is one of the first Sunn amplifiers ever manufactured in 1965. The head and cabinet have the Pullman Railroad tolex. The amplifier was recently gone over by Mitch Colby and it is 100% stock. The amp runs on 2 Genelec KT-88 Tubes. In 1965 Sunn made two versions of this head. This is the more powerful version with 2 big transformers. It is one of the greatest sounding Sunn amplifiers I have ever heard. I own 5 Pullman Top loaders. This is the best sounding one. It's priced expensive because of its rarity and I really am in no hurry to sell it because it cannot be replaced very few of these were made and there aren't many that survived 52 years later
