Fine Cased Shelf in Form of an Antique Leather Book - Unique - $75 - (Crystal River, FL)

This bookshelf is made to mimic a large antique leather bound book entitled "Royal Academy Pictures" and dated 1901. The book appears to be actual size however it is mounted leather over wood and mimics the actual book. Item has an estate tag to backside which I've removed, so it is possible it was bought abroad and shipped to the U.S. or he bought it from an antiques store with the estate tag still in place. A unique shelf in good condition with some scuffs but as you can see from the photographs it is pretty awesome overall. item measures 12" inches tall and the book itself (or the plinth) of the shelf measures 12" by 8 3/4" inches and the book is 2 1/2" inches thick.
