The polycarbonate housing shows normal wear and tear and spotting which does not affect the performance. The fish eye lens makes for dramatic close ups of large items. The fish eye has four minor scratches about 1/16" long and four subtle surface scratches which do not affect photo quality. This camera excels at macro photography without a macro lens, as it will focus as close as 1CM (.5"). The camera has never been flooded.
