Fiction: THE BIRD OF TIME by Wallace West. Paperback version from a Gnome Press release, all based on magazine stories from 1936 and later. Picture shown is of the actual book. Printed 1959. Published by Ace Books, New York. Standard paperback size (4 1/4 by 6 1/2). Illustrated cardstock covers (perfect bound) with yellow and white printing on maroon spine. 224 pages. Condition: Cover shows heavy wear: spine folds torn up to 1 inch, lower spine corners appear to be chewed, rubbing on the spine folds (heavier on the upper spine corners), creasing across both panels, outer corners creased and rounded, rubbing on the edges, faint stain on the upper corners of the page edges. Seller stampings inside front cover and on first cover page. Inked owner name on first cover page. No other writings or stampings inside the book. Inner pages are tanning as expected with this sort of paper but all are tight to the spine and supple.
