1636 Mercator-Hondius Atlas - Nova Virginia Tabula Map in ENGLISH Printing - $5,000 - (Rome, NY)

This is the real deal, I misplaced my notes on this but this is the very desirable Nova Virginia Tabula. I believe it was the Mercator-Hondius Atlas, however this is the very desirable English version from 1636. If you are looking at this you know the history. Condition, I have priced this fairly I believe considering the problems. First noticeable is the staining down the middle. That is from what looks like two very ancient repairs fixing a tear that goes almost halfway up the middle. There is also various edge chips, etc seen in the pictures. Please, please look at the pictures for details on condition. I'm sure the high bidder will have this cleaned, repaired and probably hand tinted, so like I said I believe the start price is very fair. All items will be shipped with tracking.
