large 1970's framed photo, Ski Team Jumping, Utah, nice - $85 - (Libby, MT)

This auction is for a large framed photo by John Hennessy. This image is of a ski team jumping in the air at one time. They might be associated with World Pro Skiing. It probably dates to the early 1970's and is taken most likely in Utah or Colorado. John Hennessy was from Libby, Montana. From what I heard, he was an Army photograper in Viet Nam and continued photography as a profession after the war. In the 1970's he photographed ski racers among other subjects and settled in Kalispell, Montana where he opened a studio. The photo measures 10.75 x 15 inches and is double matted in a 22 x 17 inch frame. A nice addition to any collection of vintage ski photos.
