Pair Of Steuben Green Jade Acid Etched Art Glass Lamps w/ Swan Base - $3,900 - (Chicago, IL)

Scarce and very elegant pair of acid etched art glass Steuben lamps, mounted on a brass base with patinated silvered  bronze swans,  c. 1920s- 1930s.  The green glass is finely etched with iridescent flowers, color referenced as blue aurene over jade green. The metal work is outstanding. The lamps ate finished with metal fleur-de-lis finials, topped with white round pierced tops. The lamps are not signed. Dimensions: the glass alone measures  7"H/ 4"W/2"deep, about the size of a palm of a hand, please preview pictures for details for dimensions. The lamp is medium-sized: the total height of the lamp is 29". Condition: Unfortunately the glass of one of the lamps has two hairline cracks along the sides, from top to bottom. They are not visible from the distance , but can be seen if examining the lamp  up closely, please preview all pictures carefully for more details.  There is wear to metal parts, and some light scratches to the iridescence.  The lamps are in working condition. One socket has been replaced, and the appear to have been rewired at some point, but not very recently.  Very good overall condition, consistent with age. The lamps are referenced on the Steuben Carder Club webpage as shape 6229, etching: Fircone.  It is very rarely that we see s pair of these lamps, and a similar pair was sold for as much as $4,125 ( plus buyer's premium).
