The cello does not bear a label, but is the work of a cello maker out of Prague, made about 1780-1800. It is probably the work of a member of the Hellmer School of Makers.The cello has a fine tone and is desirable for all types of playing. The cello is in a good state of repair throughout.The bow is a Marma purchased in 1962.
