PAIR ORIGINAL WELLER VASES c1930s In 1872, Samuel A. Weller founded Weller Pottery in Fultonham, Ohio. By 1915, Weller Pottery was the largest art pottery in the world. Excellence in design, craftsmanship, glaze pattern and color and quality manufacture made Weller stand out among the other American and European art pottery makers. Our vases are cylindrical style and the pattern is Woodcraft Flemish Rose. Made from 1917 to 1928, its soft colors with their rustic finish and marble-like appearance made these highly prized back then and highly desirable in today's antique and vintage art pottery market. These vases are a pair matched in pattern, color, form and condition. They have always been together as a pair. In excellent condition, without a flaw. Suitably marked with the correct incised block lettering, Weller.
