Up for sale is a IBM 3580-L43 FH SCSI LVD LTO 4 External Tape Drive 95P4400 -AS-IS-TAPENOTLOADING Turning the power on, the green light comes on, but no light comes on in the drive itself Trying to insert a tape, it acts as if its not even turned on Taking the case off and trying to power the drive with a different power supply (to verify that the supply is good, and eliminate fan noise) Still results in no operation, but I can hear a very faint high pitched whine (similar to a TV flyback) where I am thinking a capacitor might have gone bad Is this a common issue?
