Sumptuous Dresden Limoges Porcelain Vanity Tray W/ Presentation - $225 - (Manlius, NY)

Fresh from a very old and affluent estate comes this absolutely wonderful and very rare antique tray measuring 13" long and 9-1/2" wide. This piece was comissioned by two women for a friend as described on the back. The tray has beautifully hand painted Dresden flowers that are arranged to form an "MS" monogram and the border has a holly berry motif with the berries in raised jewel relief along with a jeweled ladybug.The tray is marked on the back with a Limoges mark indicating that the blank was made in Limoges but special ordered and decorated in Dresden. The tray is in absolutely wonderful condition with no damage or wear to the gilding. This piece is a real treasure if you collect vanity items or fine porcelain.
