Handpainted Black Cross Necklace with White Rose of Sharon - $8 - (Pinon, NM)

This is a cross necklace handpainted by Ellie Taylor. The cross is wooden, painted with acrylic paint and sealed with acrylic varnish. The necklace cross measures 2 3/4 inches high and 1 3/4 inches wide. The cross has a white Rose of Sharon painted on it. I got the idea to paint the Rose of Sharon from the hymn, "Jesus, Rose of Sharon". The cord on the necklace is suede and measures approximately 24 inches.
