U.S. Army vintage antique McClellan cavalry saddle - $650 - (Forrest City, AR)

This is a antique 12" McClellan US Cavalry saddle. Tapaderos are tooled "US". Has been kept since we've had it in a climate-controlled area. The skirt has two tears that need repair as you can see in the picture. Overall decent condition. Should be late 1800s/early 1900s, but I really don't know much about these saddles.
