We are selling two rare antique scrolls. These two scrolls are from a larger group, and illustrate the banquet of General Guo Ziyi, an 8th century official, who famously quelled an uprising. These two scrolls are of the arriving officials. Both scrolls are in very poor condition with extensive creasing and losses. The scrolls are approximately 7' tall x 2' wide. The first 6 pictures are of the 1st scroll (1st image: full scroll, 2nd image: signature on back of scroll, and 3rd-6th image: detailed shots of segments of the scroll from top to bottom) and the last 6 pictures are of the 2nd scroll (7th image: full scroll, 8th image: signature on back of scroll, and 9th-12th image: detailed shots of segments of the scroll from top to bottom).
