Using this special stone you can change the grit size of the Tormek, Grizzly, Jet, or other brands of wet stone sharpener/grinders. This will basically change the stone grit to give a finer sharpening surface. Use the other side of the Stone grader to restore and maintain the grindstone to its original coarser grit, bringing new abrasive grains to the surface for an effective sharpening.
