Ludwig Vintage Vistalite Drum Set red / white / blue 70's Custom Pattern (Rare) - $3,995 - (Chesterfield, MO)

Vintage Ludwig Vistalite Red/White/BlueBicentennial Kit in very rare, custom pattern (most likely one of a kind), similar to pattern D, but with a 4 band swirl instead of the 3. Serial numbers are 130xxxx, all were made around the same time ~ late 70's, at that time ludwig would make custom drums.Everything works well, and the drums sound great. Sharp, clean snare sound and deep toms with good resonance. It has very minor scratching and holes where the floor tom leg and rack tom mounts were moved. These imperfections are only visible on close inspection. The set has good heads, and has been well maintained, I played it for gigs a handful of times. It is a show stopper. I purchased the set from Donn Bennett's drum vault (Donn has a well respected drum store in Seattle)Price includes 5 drums and tom holder: 12 x 9 tom, 13 x 9 tom, 16 x 16 floor tom, 14 x 6 snare, 22 x 16 kick This is a really fun, unique set that should hold its value well
