This is a RARE 1/2 gallon cobalt blue slip decorated stoneware crock from Virginia and was made around 1850. It is impressed as follows: B.C. MILBURN ALEX A 1/2. This crock has a unique cobalt blue slip decortion the whole way around jar. It is 8" tall and in excellent condition. No cracks and just 3, maybe 4 shallow chips at the base of crock which are very difficult to notice. Please see all pictures as they are intended to be used as part of the items description.
